I have come across lots of sites that say “we offer free domain names free web hosting” then AFTER i register i find out its not free at all or you have to have a sub domain name from their site or have to advertise for them.
I would like one that is actually free to host and get a free domain name
also i want to use Google adsense on my website.
help ???
:)

You can find some good prices for hosting here that are packed with tons of features:

In my experience, the answer is no.
it does suck, but on the other hand, it does cost money for companies to host sites.
the closest thing I’ve found is a .tk address, where its a url that forwards a user to another address(say one of the “free” sites you made), while masking that longer url. the downside is that you have to have ads on your site
You can use my web services at

Free domain: http://co.cchttp://freedns.afraid.org (be careful; some of the names are rude).
You could also try http://so-pink.org . They give hosting and sometimes have free top-level domains you can “adopt”.
