Right now we’re using Network Solutions, and we’ve noticed that the email can be really slow and it takes a long time for messages to transfer. We also require remote MYSQL connections.
Right now I’ve got my eye on Hostgator & Justhost, they seem pretty good for the money. Anybody know how reliable the email is with these companies?

It works great, you basically get Gmail but with your own domain name. It’s free for up to 50 email addresses per domain name. And of course if you prefer a desktop email client for managing your email, you could easily turn on pop3 or imap. You also get the google calendar and some other apps. Check them out!
