I am looking for an new hosting company after the horrible experience I am having with my current one.
I am really interested in company offering a reliable uptime and support. My sites relies heavily on database and so on. I narrowed down my search so far to Hostmonster and Hostgator and BlueHost, but there are mixed reviews about all of over the net. Any Advice or experience offered in this domain will be much appreciated?

Good luck!
I think you are doing the right thing here asking for recommendations. That is very important. I recommend HostNed Web Hosting http://www.hostned.com to people. They are always very helpful and no BS. For support I get the right person the first time, you know what I mean? I like that. I have been using them since I was a beginning webmaster years ago. All my friends that I have referred to HostNed have been treated right too. Give them a try. You can’t go wrong with the Linux Custom Plus plan. That’s what I got.
Any hosting company is going to have some bad reviews, just imagine having 100,000 customers, the ones that do have a bad time are usually the most vocal.
I’ve used hostgator and bluehost/hostmonster, either will work fine for a basic hosting account.
There are many things you need to consider before taking the plunge. The features are a very important factor to consider when choosing a web host. When you want to operate an online business, you will need your website to be up and running most of the time; downtimes can mean big losses for you. It always pays to do a research of companies offering affordable web hosting services. If you know the things to look out for, you’ll be able to find a good one that can serve your web hosting needs.
For the best value in web hosting I would suggest http://www.myownfreeweb.com/ where your hosting is FREE and you get reliable cluster servers for continuous uptime, MySQL databases, PHP compatibility, 250MB disk space, 6GB transfer, and more.
hostmonster webhosting is the best one since they offer unlimited Bandwidth ,free domain and $100 credits to advertise your website with the google & yahoo search engines for free with their webhosting package.http://www.hostmonster.com/track/hostmon…
I’ve never used any of the hosts you’ve mentioned, but PureWebServer.com has very reliable 99.9% uptime and 27-hour support. They may be just what you need. Plus they have a 30 day money-back guarentee. It’s the host I use!
Nash,
webhosting.yahoo.com – there’s a site with much info for you
If you like to create websites (usually you will end up more than 1 website, I got more than 100 websites in about 6 months’ time), go for multiple web hosting services where you could host all your websites in one account.
I would like to suggest following webhosting which I use, they are excellent.
Hostmonster http://www.hostmonster.com/track/ryukend...
They offer hosting of “unlimited domains” and you will get massive webspace of 1500000 MB (1500 GB ). They only charge $5.95/month and they offer “a free Domain Name” and installing service called “Fantastico”. By using Fantastico, you could create own forum, photo gallery, shopping cart (e-commerce),your own auction site and your own blogs within few seconds. They also offer “Free Website Builder” as well.
Visit the site to check details.
