So, I want to make a website, but I’m limited in knowlege. I dont want webs.com or anything like that. I plan on using something like hostmonster, or something. I have no clue how to make it though. What program do I use to make/edit my website, I want to download a template/layout online, then just edit it, but how do I do that, without HTML, I know some HTML, but not enough to make a website, please help. Thanks,

Hi,
To create a web site consisting of web pages you will need an editor program much like DreamWeaver, here you can create/edit/modify web pages. However if you have limited knowledge then maybe you’d want to have a premade template to edit within dreamweaver, also dreamweaver comes preloaded with templates.
To upload your files you’ll need an FTP program (File Transfer Protocol) such as FileZilla ( a free one! ). This will connect to your web hosts server to allow you to upload the website files.
If you want someone to build a website for you, your going to need a website designer. This can be anything from a student needing to boost a portfolio to a professional web designer, and they vary in price.
Or you can get software such as Wordpress, Joomla and others to create a website WordPress is much like a blog, all you need to do is upload the files to your website directory and install the packages.

Use TemplateMonster to get great templates.
Use CoffeeCup to upload your file.
