Setting The Default Page To Load On A Website?

Category: FAQ   Time: 2009-11-03   Tags: , , , ,

I would like to set the default webpage to a site hosted on godaddy. The site is “southhillshighschool.com”. When you type this into the address bar in the browser it loads the “page not found – error page” and you must click on home to get to our homepage. How do i find out which page it looks for or change it to the correct one? (i use Dreamweaver 8 to connect to the server if that is any help)

Give your home page the name index.html
That will make it the default document.
