I set a few email accounts up as IMAP accounts. They are Dreamhost email accounts, and can be accessed by either IMAP or POP. I hate the way IMAP works, it’s so SLOOOOW. So, I have decided to swap to POP. Anybody know how I do this in Thunderbird? (When you go into server info after the account has been set up, the selection you made, either POP or IMAP is already there, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to swap over at this point),

You need to set up a new account with the same details but as pop3 accounts. You can disable the imap account first so it does not try to col;l;ect mail. Once you have the pop3 account running you can transfer the existing mails to the pop3 account folders and then rmove the imap accpount. Be aware as soon as you use pop3 collection, any mail read by your client (Thunderbird) will no longer be available from any other machine, or from the web mail. Pop3 deletes read messages from the server.
