Using An Ftp Client With Godaddy Hosting?

As far as I know, I’m doing it correctly. You use your godaddy account username/password, a long with the address of your domain name, and the port 21. But it won’t let me connect. I’m using filezilla.
Can anyone help me?

    Double check with GoDaddy because I believe they require use of ftp:// which uses the FTP address to your domain name. I use FileZilla, too, but my host allows use of the domain name for FTP access.
    Might check and see if you need to use Passive or Active mode with their server.
    Well, just checked. GoDaddy allows Domain Name:
