I was about to buy a domain name from GoDaddy.com, and I choose to pay with paypal, but it only asks for a credit card! I added my bank account and wish to use that instead. Anyone know how to get around this?

You give the information but you choose what you want to do. I think the extra info is their back up in case your bank account is dry. I think this is what you are asking.
I did it like this. I just gave them what they wanted and with each transaction they ask if you are OK with taking it out of your account. If you aren’t, you just say Put it on the credit card. EDIT: And just to even out the opinions here, I was never ripped off by Paypal, and always had any problems settled. Maybe they don’t settle as quickly as I would have liked, but they do settle in a reasonable fashion. Often the problems come from individual buyers and sellers, not Paypal itself. That’s life.
Something’s wrong. The priority for PayPal when taking money to pay is
1- Always Pay from funds in your PayPal account first
2- Take from your bank account if no funds in PayPal account
3- Take from a credit card, if funds are not available in either of the other two methods.
Call them up and ask.
