I’ve narrowed it down to DreamHost, HostMonster, and BlueHost…
Thank you! ^_^

I recommend Dreamhost. They are over 10 years in business, have a really great plan 500 GB Disk Space, 5TB Monthly Bandwidth, OneClick installers… and you get one domain name included for free, but you can host unlimited number of sites on a single account. What this means is that you can create one website using the domain name you get from them for free, and then easily add more websites/domains to the same hosting plan later on. (I host over 20 sites on a single account). The best thing about them is that they are very easy to use and very easy to set up.
), and those that do, usually charge a huge setup fee to discourage you from going the monthly payment route. Dreamhost is one of them, they charge the $49.95 setup fee, but you can use the Promo Code DNA and get the setup for free. So you can start your web hosting for only $10.95 a month.
Their price is $119.40/year ($9.95/month if you pay yearly). Now, there are some cheaper web hosting companies, but you can use the Promo Code: DNA and get the $50.00 discount, which brings the price down to 69.40/year ($5.78/month if you pay yearly) and that makes them even cheaper than the competition.
If you want to try Dreamhost but don’t feel like paying the whole year of hosting upfront, you can choose to pay monthly. Now, most hosting companies don’t even offer monthly payments (because they prefer your money upfront
This way is a bit pricier but it has some pro’s: No long term contracts, minimum risk, you can cancel at any time, it’s the same plan, so you get one month of hosting plus free domain name registration for just $10.95. This is maybe the best way to start with shared web hosting.
I hope this helps!

you will not be disappointed. I have a resellers account with them and host 52 sites for my clients. support is outstanding and the control panel is better then most.
I actually found one I like better than all of those.http://www.1and1.com/?k_id=17016322
1and1 has 3 months free right now & then hosting packages start at just $5 a month. I installed Wordpress and Drupal on them with no problems, they also have a free website builder and a few 1-click software installs for things like xoops, joomla, vbulletin and more…plus a free 6 month spreadshirt account, yahoo & google ad credits, and a bunch of other neat freebies.
I am very happy with them – I have 2 free domains with my package, their email & 24 hr phone support is great and they have 99.9% uptime. Their control panel is so easy to use too! I made the mistake of using godaddy because they were cheap once, what a nightmare. – 1and1 might be cheap but I have not had any problems with 1and1.
I am not a scam artist- you can check my sites out at http://itmightbelove.com and http://bestofstupid.com – both are registered & hosted with 1and1.
Good luck!
Hi,
When choosing a web host it’s of course important to consider the cost (some hosting can be very expensive) but here are some other important things you should take into consideration too:
Web Hosting Space: Some web hosts will only give you 500MB or so of space. This could be a concern if you are looking at creating large websites.
Bandwidth: Some web hosts will severely limit the bandwidth you can use before you incur extra charges.
Uptime: There’s no point in having a website if people can’t see it. Does your web host offer at least a 99% uptime guarantee?
Number of websites allowed: If you’re looking to host more than one website on your account, will your web host charge you more to do this?
Support: If you have any problems you need to be able to contact your web host quickly and easily to get the problem sorted.
I have used Hostgator as my web host for over two years now and have been very very impressed with them. Firstly they’re very cheap but still give me more web hosting space and bandwidth than I’ll ever need, the ability to host unlimited websites, a 99.9% uptime guarantee and great customer support. You can find them at http://www.webhostgator.info
I’ve no say in DreamHost, but my friend has been complaining about DreamHost.
As for HostMonster and BlueHost, they are under the same principal company as a matter of fact. So, their offers and services are the same, the only difference is the names. HostMonster’s web hosting plan used to be $5.95/mth, but they have increased it to $6.95/month, exactly the same rate as BlueHost’s. However, bear in mind that, you will enjoy the rate of $6.95/month only when you subscribe the 2-year plan. It’s $7.95/month instead if you subscribe the 1-year plan.
My recommendations:
Both HostMonster and BlueHost are good, I’ve used them before, but they do not have a toll free technical help line that we can seek assistance from in case of emergency, they do provide live chat support though.
The two web hosts that I highly recommend:http://IXWebHosting.tk & http://StartLogic.tk with toll free live support
Good luck in selecting your web host. Cheers!
You should try HostGator (low monthly cost and unlimited sites)
=> http://secure.hostgator.com/cgi-bin/affi… . It’s alot better than the 3 you just listed. You could thank me laters.

Mine has been pending since last night so im going to email her about it.
Many of my friends have it and they said its safe since its via paypal =D
hope that helps.
When I started building websites, I was confused which web hosting to go for. Now I am clear about which web hosting provider is good and reliable. For your information concerned with choosing web hosting, I have selected top web hosting providers.
Compare the hosting providers.
Visit http://www.sharedhostingpackages.com
All of them sucks, I am hosting my website at http://aplis.net/ , you can also give them a try. First month free.

Thank you! ^_^
I am seriously against dreamhost. I had purchased an account from them 2 months back. And since last one month all my sites were dead slow. If you want a proof, here it is: http://www.dreamhoststatus.com/2008/03/2…
Look at the date since when the problem is there. Even though I warn people, they still go for it, and repent later.
My friend has an account at hostmonstor. Its good. For your info, hostmonstor and blue host ar the same company. So won’t make much difference.
But if you allow me to recommend you something other than what you have narrowed down, I will recomend the host that I am currently using. Hostgator. I feel its even better than bluehost. Support is great. If you want to try out blue host, you will have to pay atleast 6months charge in advance in order to get an economic account. But you can try hostgator for just $0.01, by following the instructions here:http://hostingresearch.thinkingpal.com/c…
HostMonster and BlueHost are owned by the same parent company. Both offer the same quality services at the same prices, but according to my experience, BlueHost runs on faster servers. Unfortunately, I don’t have any direct experience with DreamHost. You can ask other users.
However, as an experienced webmaster I recommend BlueHost service which I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them. Their service is really perfect and uptime.
Before signing up you can take a look at: http://bluehost-features.atspace.com There you would see why this service was awarded as the best web host 2008.
Good Luck!
