So im starting to create a website, using Godaddy.com hosting plan. The plan is nothing special just the standard one, and i need to put a user name and password on one of the pages? so how do i do it?

You use the GoDaddy hosting control panel, create a folder in the file manager, put the file you want protected into the folder, then apply a password to the folder.
It will all be obvious once you log in to GoDaddy and launch the hosting manager for your site.
