Godaddy.com employs a very sleazy, unprofessional ad campaign, which is probably why you thought it was porn.

Additionally they offer low cost shared hosting options as well as competitive virtual dedicated and dedicated server plans. Additionally they offer the full gamut of web related products and services (not that I would recommend all of them).
For cheap hosting their plans are reliable. For dedicated server options you may want to do some shopping around and compare power/$.
No it is not porn, but indeed the ad campaign under the name Godaddy is rather sleazy.
