I’m a freelance writer and am wanting to build a nice looking website, not just some cheapo looking website. What’s the best software to use for that and what’s the best web host to use? I hear godaddy is pretty good.

For hosting, I heard that GoDaddy isn’t so great. I use 1and1 which I don’t like their control panel interface, but they have good customer service. http://www.totalchoicehosting.com is supposed to be pretty good too.

if your a noob…. dreamweaver
On your mac you should have something called iweb. That is probably the best software for a mac because it was made by apple itself. Although i think you will have to have a .mac account.
