    A domain can be associated with multiple websites!!!
    Kind of like a building versus a village…
    Hence the name domainhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_name

    It’s like the difference between a house and an address. The website is the house and the domain name is the address.

    a domain name means you own that name (e.i. http://www.yournamehere.com) and no one else has rights to it. (doesn’t necessarly mean that it has a webpage)
    a website is…well a website (e.i. ebay.com….yahoo.com…msn.com) that you can go to
