Where Can I Can A Host And Domain Name That Keeps My Identity And Address Private?

Category: FAQ   Time: 2009-09-13   Tags: , , , , , , , ,

I am considering setting up a website which will incorporate confidential and otherwise sensitive information and I really need my details to be kept private and certainly not in the public domain. Does anyone have any good ideas as to a host and domain provider that would be suitable?

As an experienced webmaster I recommend BlueHost service which I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. When signing up there is a check box of “Domain Privacy”. When you add Bluehost Privacy to your registration, the only information listed in the whois will be Bluehost and your private information will not be available to anyone on the internet .
They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.
Here I have copied and pasted its features from their website to view:

    - 15000 GIGS of Transfer
    - Host UNLIMITED Domains (Support All Domain Names)

    - SSH (Secure Shell), SSL, FTP, Stats

to register a domain name you MUST have your details listed in the same way a company must have a registered office and contact.
the content of the website is up to you but there must be a legal and public contact point for the domain registration.
if you are not happy with this then use on of the secure data centres as a host and set up and account with them. they will then register the domain and domain ownership in there name and keep your details private however you do then NOT own the domain merely licence its use from the dta centre which means you’re stuck with them.
the request to register a domian name anonymously would be considered highly suspect and may result in you being investigated!!

It’s easy work when someone try to identify your website detail but if you want to be anonymous you have to pay extra money lets me give you an very simple and totally easy to work Domain service. It’s Yahoo! Small business I already took more than 15 or 20 domain for private only thing you have to do is pay 9.95$ extra per year to become anonymous in WHOIS system, I really recommend u to use yahoo domain service. GOOD luck
