I know godaddy.com and web.com are places where you can register a domain but I don’t to use the provided tools they give you. I have dreamweaver and I prefer to have a domain and then upload my website from dreamweaver. So if anyone knows how I can get a web address please let me know!

If you have a paid hosting, you do not have to use their tools although you should use their Control Panel to manage your site. Some FTPs are better to use than Dreamweaver’s, but if you are use to DW’s, then it will work on any GOOD paid hosting account.

you have to find a domain host to have your own web address, which you have to pay for, and you also need a server host to upload your website from dreamweaver. I seen this free web host http://www.000webhost.com/ but idk of any free domains.
you can use http://www.godaddy.com/ with dreamweaver
Just upload your files
You can have GoDaddy without using their site builders. Simply build the site on Dreamweaver, then upload to server.
HostGator is also good:
