I’ve already decided to use Godaddy for domain registry, but I can’t decide on a web-hosting package/service. I’ve had these recommended to me so far:
Bluehost – the most recommended I’ve heard of
Max-Hosting
Bravenet
Webs
Any advice/suggestions?

I recommend http://www.hostmonsterplus.com
They are owned by the same people as Bluehost but they have a few more features and have no issues with the Chinese Firewall.
I used to use BlueHost, which I did enjoy, but my need to be seen in China forced me to change to http://www.hostmonsterplus.com
So I recommend them.
If you go there you can also ask their support team, they will admit they are sister companies with the same support team and everything.
I highly recommend them.
Here’s a few of my reasons why:
These are just some of my reasons:
It supports PHP, MySQL, and almost anything you’ll need.
It comes with a free domain name… ex: whateveryouwant.com
It has unlimited storage and bandwidth.
You can also add an unlimited amount of domain names.
So with one account you can have many different .com websites. I have 6 right now.
Only $3.95 per month.
They also give you free $50 Google Credits for advertising your site.
I’ve been using them for 3 years and I’ll give them my thumbs up.
I have been following and using BlueHost for more than 4 years now. The reason why I love them so much is because they are always the leader in the industry. They always lead the industry with the higher and better offer. Other players merely follow their footsteps.
For example, they are always the first to increase disk space and bandwidth while other players follow suit. But what make them the leader is that they are the first host that offer multiple domain hosting to the customers. While this might be an old topic now as most web hosts is offering it right now, one must not forget it is BlueHost that light up the first fire few years back.
You might not believe it but less than a year ago, multiple domain hosting is uncommon. Most hosting accounts come with incredible amounts of disk space and bandwidth but only allow you to host 1 domain per account! That makes the offered disk space and bandwidth totally useless because I need to pay for a second account if I need to host another website even I have only used 10% of the disk space and bandwidth of my first account.
BlueHost is the first genuine web host where the large disk space and bandwidth offered is not a mere marketing gimmick. They are making sure that you have the ability to exhaust the allocated resources by allowing you to host UNLIMITED websites under the same hosting account!
I used to predict in this review that in the future, most other web hosts will have to follow BlueHost’s lead by offering multiple domain hosting accounts. And the future has already arrived, almost all other web hosts have follow suit and are offering multiple domain hosting.
Well bluehost is good, but you can also consider web hosting from Fatcow, which offering everything unlimited for just $3.67 a month which you can claim using the url : http://cheaphostingforum.com/go/fatcowwe…
So, do check out the offer and best of luck with your new website
Hi, http://myamazinghosting.com is very, very cheap, 1 dollar monthly, 3000 Mb space, 15000 Mb data transfer, and more than 50 software.
Bluehost is not bad,but I prefer lunarpages.
But In july,I recommend pronethosting.
When you are indecisive, free trail is a good choice.
In this month, they running a CRAZY SUMMER SPECIAL that allows people to buy hosting only $4.95 setup fee for the entire first year of hosting! Not only is this an incredibly low price, but you will get unlimited space and unlimited bandwidth .
