http://www.H0STGAT0R.com , your host has Wordpress in Cpanel. You can indeed install it anywhere that you like, and if your plan allows it, you can have as many installations as you’d like. (You need 1 mysql database per installation)
One of my sites has 20+ blogs on it, they are all in their own subdirectories.
It’s pretty simple. Play around with Cpanel. You can create and delete WordPress installations very quickly and easily.
