    Your motherboard will accept the card.
    However there are three things you need to check.
    1, Will the card fit into the case, the 8800GTS is several inches longer then the 8600GS.
    2. Do you have any other card installed beneath your curreny graphics card. The 8800GTS takes up two slots.
    3. Does your power supply have 6pin connecters. The 8800GTS needs to have a direct power source from the power supply unit.
